Artistic talent shines through in Quinton Scott Christmas card competition

Three talented children from St. Agatha’s primary school in Kingston have been rewarded for their artistic efforts in Quinton Scott’s annual Christmas card competition.

Thanks to her exceptional entry the winning pupil, Fabiana Rodi, won a trip for herself and her family to watch ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, this year’s Christmas pantomime at Wimbledon Theatre. In addition, Fabiana’s winning design (currently on display at Quinton Scott’s Kingston office) will be incorporated into several hundred Christmas cards being produced and distributed by Quinton Scott in Kingston.

However, Fabiana wasn’t the only one to win a prize. The runner up, Annabelle Wieland, won a visit to the Hampton Court ice rink, while Henry Blake, who came in third, was rewarded with a £20 Bentalls voucher. Every pupil who took part also received a bag of golden chocolate money as a thank you for participating.

Quinton Scott Director, Terry Pierre and his colleague Gemma Coram, were responsible for judging the numerous entries and had the difficult task of selecting the winners.

Terry said, “On behalf of everyone at Quinton Scott I would like to say a big thank you to all of the children who entered our competition. The standard of entries was very high and it was really tough picking out the winners. We would also like to thank the teachers and parents of St Agatha’s who helped organise the whole thing. We love Fabiana’s design and hope that everyone who receives a card from us will love it too!”

Commenting on the competition Patrick Monk, head teacher of St. Agatha’s, said “We were very pleased to organise this competition with Quinton Scott. We like to feel we are part of the community and working with local businesses such as Quinton Scott benefits everyone, but most particularly our children. We would also like to thank Quinton Scott for their £250 donation to our Christmas Hamper fund. This hamper will be raffled off with the proceeds being donated to our school charity - the Parent School Association.”
